Magomed Evloyev's family intends to boycott trial on his murder

The victims in the case of murder of Magomed Evloyev, owner of the sight "Ingushetia.RU",  intend to withdraw from the judicial process, states Musa Pliyev, the Evloyev's family lawyer. The lawyer is sure that the injured party will be right to boycott the trial which, according to Pliyev, more resembles a farce.

Pliyev adds that the Evloyev's family may only hope for a fair court ruling in international courts, in  particular, the European Court on Human Rights, reports radio station "Echo of Moscow".

Preliminary hearings on the case of murder of Evloyev took place on August 6 in the Karabulak town court, Ingushetia. The injured party requested that the case should be returned to the prosecution office in order to merge it with the case of the loss of the oppositionist's attach? case with money. If the militiamen had not intended to murder Magomed they would not have stolen the money", stressed Yakhiya Evloyev, the father of the victim, and added that the case of the theft was poorly investigated: "The investigators even failed to take fingerprints from the found attach? case and the several banknotes which had fallen out of it".

After the court dismissed the petition, the victims decided to withdraw from the process. "We have filed a petition with a request to send the case for additional investigation and submitted sufficient arguments. The judge dismissed it", said  Yakhiya Evloyev and added that the hearing on the merits of the case was appointed on August 18, reports the "Commersant".
