FSB: "al-Qaeda" member liquidated in Dagestan sent militants to Northern Caucasus
The native of Algeria, also known by nickname "Doctor Muhammad", who was liquidated in the evening on August 30 in the course of a special operation in the Khasavyurt District, was in charge of delivering militants to Dagestan and other republics of Northern Caucasus. This was reported by a source from the FSB (Federal Security Bureau of Russia).
Today, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, which was introduced in Mutsalaul village, Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, in the evening on Sunday, August 30, has been lifted with the end of operative-combat actions.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 30, during a special operation in Mutsalaul village, two persons were killed. According to the FSB, one of them was "Doctor Muhammad", coordinator of the Dagestan-based "al-Qaeda" unit.
The other casualty was Sultan Magomedov, a resident of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan. Two FSB fighters received fragmental wounds.
