Free air limit for contenders has been doubled
The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan is inclined to demand that the independent television companies provide equal conditions for all registered presidential contenders, reported CEC Chairman Mazakhir Panakhov. He said that independent television companies defined themselves the time and tariffs for electioneering, but those requirements should be the same for all 12 candidates.
The CEC member Azer Tagiev alleged that the free air limit granted to the candidates by the national television companies was increased from 3 hours to 6 hours per week.
