Zagra Kazimagomedova, a resident of Makhachkala, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that today her husband Murad Salikhov, 24, who lived in the capital of Dagestan at 55 Akushinskogo Street, disappeared in early evening.

Ms Kazimagomedova learnt about it from her husband's friend, who preferred to remain anonymous. He said that when Salikhov talked to him by mobile phone, suddenly some shouts and noise were heard, then Salikhov literally cried out into the phone: "I'm taken away by cops!"

The woman says that her husband's phone was not witched off, signals could be sent but nobody would answer. When she sent an SMS message "Why have you taken away my husband, what do you want from him?" the telephone was switched off.

She said that Salikhov earned his additional money by giving lift to people in his car; he was registered by the police in the context of any violations, and was a practising Moslem. They have a six-month son.

Ms Kazimagomedova also said that she, their relatives and friends had already visited all the interior stations and departments, where guards of order told them that they knew nothing about Salikhov's fate.

She has submitted an application on her husband's disappearance to Sovietskiy District Prosecutor's Office of Makhachkala, where the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told that the application was accepted to consideration.
