Georgian MFA is unhappy with Moscow Mayor's visit to Abkhazia
Another note of protest was delivered via ambassador of the Swiss Confederation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Georgia to the Russian party. The Georgian party's protest was caused by the visit on November 13 to Abkhazia of the Moscow delegation headed by Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.
According to the Georgian MFA, on that very day - November 13 - Russian militaries "rushed into the school of Nabakevi village, Gali District, and stole the computers presented to the school by the Ministry of Education of Georgia," and took Georgian books away from teachers.
Besides, the official statement of the foreign ministry runs that on that very day Georgian families of Sida and Nabakevi villages were robbed.
"The Russia's occupational troops mark by this sort of 'actions' the visit of the Russian delegation," marks the Georgian MFA in its statement.
