Court extends custody for suspects of blowing up "Neva-Express" train
On Tuesday, the Novgorod Regional Court extended till March 3, 2010, the custody of Salanbek Dzakhkiev and Maksharip Khidriev, suspected figurants in the first explosion of the "Neva-Express" train committed in August 2007. This was announced by the spokesman of the united press service of the Novgorod regional judiciary.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today at 3:00 p.m. the Novgorod Regional Court started its session on the case dealing with the accident of the "Neva-Express" train, which happened near Malaya Vishera on August 13, 2007.
The custody of both defendants was to expire on December 3. The defence petitioned about changing the custody for some other pre-trial restrictions, while the prosecution asked to extend the arrest term. The court upheld the latter and extended the arrest till March 3, 2010, as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
