Mirzoyan, Karen Ambartsumovich

Statesman, diplomat.

Born in 1965 in Yerevan, Armenia. In 1989, graduated from the Department of Orient Studies of Yerevan State University. In 1990-1993, studied in the graduate school of Institute for Orient Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. In 1993-1997, worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia: in the Department of Research and Policy Planning, then in the Department of Turkey of the Middle East Division. In 1996-1997, headed the aforementioned department. Since 1997, works in the Permanent Representation of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in the Republic of Armenia. Since November 1997, is a Permanent Representative of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in the Republic of Armenia.

Married, has a daughter.
