Explosion in Kabardino-Balkaria brings victims
A lieutenant colonel of one of power agencies, two children and two women were wounded by the explosion of a self-made bomb, which was triggered under a passenger car in Nart-Kala village.
"The explosion happened on July 16 at about 11:00 p.m. Moscow, when the officer drove his car to his house. His two small relatives, born in 2004 and 2005, were in the car and also suffered from the explosion," said a source in law enforcement bodies.
He added that two women who happened to be nearby at the moment were slightly wounded.
The heavily wounded officer, two children and both women were hospitalized. The power of the bomb was about 500 grams in trotyl equivalent, the "Interfax" reports.
