In Dedoplistskaro, in Tsarinas Tamara Street, because of flooding a child got into a drain ditch, but was rescued. Local residents pump water out of their houses with the help of fire-fighting trucks and special electric pumps. Specialists of the department for emergencies also work there.

Local residents addressed for help in liquidation of the consequences of the downpour to regional authorities. According to Giorgi Sibashvili, deputy governor of the region, special machinery was mobilized in the Dedoplistskaro District; and the regional commission was set up to appraise the suffered losses.
