In Dagestan, fire victims have to stay overnight in the street

Residents of Anchikh village, Akhvakh District of Dagestan, who lost their houses in a fire on August 5, had to spend their night in the open air. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Isa Magomedov, a villager.

Under preliminary data, the fire was triggered by a short circuit in one of the houses. Over 200 persons lost their houses; fortunately, there were no casualties.
"My father's house burnt down; he and mother spent the night with us. Others have preferred to stay in the open air, although they were offered to get into survived houses," said Magomedov.

He has noted that ignition points still remain, but they are of no special danger, as many households lie in ashes.
