Gas explosion in Grozny injures a woman
According to latest data, this morning in downtown Grozny, a gas cylinder blew up in one of the shopping kiosks situated near the bus stop, leading to the "Minutka" Square. The saleswoman who worked in the kiosk was slightly injured. The version of a terror act is completely rejected by the Chechen law enforcement bodies.
Let us remind you that a small explosion occurred this morning in Akhmad Kadyrov Avenue. It was already the fourth explosion in the Chechen capital within the past 24 hours; and initially it was also perceived as another terror act.
"There was no terror act today in Grozny," said the Republic's Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) and added that most probably it was an explosion of residues of liquefied gas in the bottle, which was in one of the kiosks selling flowers.
Local law enforcement bodies have also stated that the version of a terror act in Kadyrov Avenue is out of question. "Experts have found that the explosion was caused by a leakage of gas," said the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Chechnya.
