Death toll of gunfire in Makhachkala reaches three

The policeman, who was wounded as a result of today's shooting in Makhachkala, has died in hospital, said the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan. Thus, the total number of the casualties of the gunfire has reached three persons.

On September 3, at about 2:00 p.m., unknown criminals shelled a police unit and fled in a car. Two policemen died on the spot.

Another policeman, who was wounded during the skirmish that took place in the crossing of Yaragskogo and Gagarina Streets, was hospitalized, but died on the way to the clinic, says the website of the Dagestani MIA.

All the three casualties were inspectors of the DPS (road and post service). There names are Police Lieutenant Kurban Rabadanov, Lieutenant Giray Giraev and Sergeant Saipula Saipulaev.

The "Caucasian Knot" is monitoring the situation in Dagestan and runs the chronicle of shelling and explosions.
