Glahtun
Ancient type of Armenian national dwelling, in the past widely widespread in mountain areas of Armenia. Partly kept in XX century. Represents stone premises with wooden step overlaps based on columns. In the centre of the arch there is an aperture for light and smoke, with an open fireplace under it. Around of glahtun various facility rooms are usually grouped. Dwellings like glahtun were characteristic also for mountain areas of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
