The remaining 400 conscripts have been sent to the units of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Southern Military District.

The young men interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent said that the military service is now considered a prestigious occupation in Chechnya, in particular, because with problems with finding a job in the republic.

Let us remind you that Chechnya had no large-scale conscription campaigns since 1992. In the autumn of 2001, Chechnya made an experiment with a call of 70 boys to military service. All of them were sent to serve in the sports company of the Motorized Infantry Brigade, stationed in the Moscow Military District. However, several months later all the conscripts were sent back to Chechnya because of numerous conflicts with colleagues and officers of the unit.
