Rostov journalist Reznik sentenced to three years

The Lenin District Court of Rostov-on-Don has found the journalist and blogger Sergey Reznik guilty of false denunciation and insult of officials and sentenced him to three years in a general security colony, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Sergey Reznik was found guilty on all incriminated articles. The above verdict was imposed with account of the decision of the Pervomaiskiy District Court of November 26, 2013, which sentenced the journalist to 1.5 years in prison.

Reznik, who has completely denied his guilt, was also awarded an additional penalty of a two-year ban on working for the media.
