Young man detained, found dead

The mutilated body of Husein Duzhuyev, a resident of the village of Nagornoye, Chechnya's Grozny district, was found on June 20 in the vicinity of the village of Pervomayskaya situated in the same district. As reported by locals, Duzhuyev along with his friend, Anzor Aygumov, made their way towards the village of Goragorsk in a Zhiguli car in the evening of June 18. Officers of security agencies, moving in several Uaz cars without number plates, stopped them not far from Goragorsk. They beat Aygumov and took Duzhuyev away with them. Relatives of Husein Duzhuyev tried to establish his whereabouts and further destiny but failed. The reason for the extrajudicial execution of 27-year-old Husein Duzhuyev is unknown.
