Sochi: court marshals postpone eviction of family with many children
In Sochi, while fulfilling the court's decision, court marshals tried to evict a family with many children from an apartment in the municipal house. The eviction has been postponed due to the fact that the court has pronounced the decision with regard of two adults and two children. However, during the litigation on the allocation of an apartment, one more child was born in the family, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 13, 2015, at the claim filed by the city administration, the Central District Court of Sochi pronounced the decision to evict Tatiana and Fyodor Dyakov with their children from an apartment in a manoeuvre fund, allocated to them after the demolition of their house because of the construction of the road for the 2014 Olympic Games. The eviction was scheduled for June 10.
An official from the agency for guardianship and trusteeship showed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent a letter dated June 10, 2016, and addressed to Valentin Vaganov, the court marshal chief. The letter was signed by S. Kaifedjyan, the acting head of the Department for Family and Children Affairs. In the letter, Mr Kaifedjyan asks Mr Vaganov to postpone the execution of the court decision until the Dyakov family with many children solves their housing problem, since the apartment in the house in Labour Street is the only place of their residence. According to Mr Kaifedjyan, the city administration is to allocate alternative accommodation for the Dyakov family.
"It should be noted that the manoeuvre fund accommodates only those people who have the right to permanent housing. The manoeuvre fund was created by the Mayor's Office to solve the problem of permanent housing, which was to be allocated by the city administration. In this case, the family is thrown into the street out of the manoeuvre fund, and that is unacceptable," Mikhail Okhrimenko, an advocate of the Bar Association of the Krasnodar Territory, has commented on the situation.
