CTO regime cancelled in Nalchik

Law enforcers have cancelled the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, introduced this morning in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported about the introduction of the CTO regime. The special operation was carried out in parallel at two addresses. Thus, according to power agents, an alleged militant blocked in a private house in Shota Rustaveli Street, was killed in a shootout. At another location, an alleged militant was detained. No law enforcers and civilians suffered.

The CTO regime was cancelled at 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, the "Interfax-AVN" writes with reference to the operative headquarters of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The CTO was held in Kalinin and Shota Rustaveli Streets. In the former case the suspected militant has surrendered to power agents, the TASS specifies citing its law enforcement source.
