One person killed in CTO in Nalchik

An alleged member of the armed underground killed during a counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO regime was introduced in Nalchik today from 7:00 a.m. Moscow time. According to power agents, the special operation is carried out in the vicinity of 2nd Taman Division Street.

The alleged militant from the blocked private house in Rustaveli Street opened fire on law enforcers and was killed by response fire, the "Interfax-AVN" writes with reference to its law enforcement source.

According to preliminary data, two suspected members of the armed underground were blocked in the above private house; talks were held with them, the TASS reports, citing its law enforcement source.

Nobody suffered among power agents, the "Life" reports.
