In Volgograd, picketer demands to solve problems of families with many children

Officials do not pay attention to the social problems of families with many children and do nothing to solve them. This was stated by Nadezhda Kireeva, a mother of seven children, who held a picket in front of the administration of the Volgograd Region.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from March 1, 2015, four parents of many children went on hunger strike one by one and carried out their protest action in front of the administration of the Volgograd Region. They demanded to solve their housing problems. On March 19, 2015, Nadezhda Kireeva filed an appeal to the guardianship authorities with a request to deprive her of her parental rights with regard to her two older sons, since the family had no money for their maintenance. After the protest actions, the Kireeva family was accommodated at a social hotel.

This is not the first year, when Volgograd parents of many children come to protest actions. In the period from September 23 to October 4, 2013, 12 parents of many children went on hunger strike with the demand to pay attention to their problems.

"The situation in the region does not change. The officials, who are responsible for the social situation of the Volgograd Region, step up the career ladder and do not think about local residents with many children," Nadezhda Kireeva has explained.

According to her, her family members are going to leave the region, although no final decision has been yet made.
