Number of candidates running for position of leader of Chechnya reaches three persons

Apart from Ramzan Kadyrov, Idris Usmanov, Commissioner for protection of entrepreneurs' rights, and Sultan Denilkhanov, the leader of the regional branch of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party, have notified the Election Commission about their nomination for the position of the leader of Chechnya.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 2, the Chechen Election Commission received documents on the nomination of acting Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov as a candidate for the position of the leader of the republic and issued to him an official confirmation. At the same time, the "Party of Growth" nominated Idris Usmanov. However, according to the Election Commission, only today, Idris Usmanov has formally become a candidate, when he submitted the required documents.

Today, according to the Election Commission of the Chechen Republic, the documents have been submitted by Idris Usmanov, Commissioner for protection of entrepreneurs' rights in the Chechen Republic, and Sultan Denilkhanov, the leader of the regional branch of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" Party.
