"Georgian Dream" Party introduces 15 new candidates to Parliament

The Georgian "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" Party has updated the number of its candidates for the elections to the Parliament.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the elections to the Georgian Parliament are scheduled for October 8, 2016, and the election campaign was launched on June 8. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), as of July 10, sixteen parties are registered for participation in the elections.

"Today, the Georgian policy needs a new energy and a fresh look... I want to introduce new faces who will make a positive contribution not only to the 'Georgian Dream' Party, but to our policy in general," said Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia and the leader of the "Georgian Dream" Party, at the house-museum of Ilya Chavchavadze located in the village of Saguramo.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili has described the new members of his Party as persons "adhered to high values." "We paid attention to the above to select new faces of our team. We selected persons with good reputation, good education, and high professional skills," emphasized the leader of the "Georgian Dream" Party.
