"Free Democrats" Party presents its first candidates for Parliament of Georgia

At its 6th congress, the oppositional party "Free Democrats" has presented its first group of twenty candidates for Georgia's MPs, who will run by the party list.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Georgian parliamentary elections were scheduled for October 8, 2016; and the election campaign started on June 8. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC) as on July 10, 16 parties had been registered for elections.

The first twenty candidates are: Irakli Alasaniya, Victor Dolidze, Nino Goguadze, Zurab Abashidze, Irakli Chikovani, Shalva Shavgulidze, Tamar Kekenadze, Alexi Petriashvili, Maia Pandjikidze, Giorgi Tsagareishvili, Tamar Amashukeli, David Onoprishvili, Tamaz Shioshvili, Vakhtang Mchedlidze, Tinatin Revazishvili, Teimuraz Salukvadze, Tamar Koberidze, Baniamin Kasimov, Nikoloz (Koka) Pruidze and Mikhail Avakyan.
