Power agents announce detention of IS helpers in Ingushetia
Today, a group of active supporters of the "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia by the court, was detained in the city of Magas and in one of the municipal districts of Nazran, the FSB's Department for Ingushetia has reported.
"As part of the investigation into the criminal case, initiated on the fact of organizing an illegal armed formation (IAF) or participation therein, operative agents managed to detain a group of helpers to the so-called "Nazran" bandit grouping, the members of which had sworn to the IS," said the spokesman of the press service of the above FSB's department.
According to his story, during searches of detainees' houses, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were found and confiscated. Currently, operative-investigative activities continue, the "Interfax" reports.
