NKR accuses Azerbaijan of soldier's death

Araik Ordubekyan, a soldier of the Defence Army, was fatally wounded in the course of shelling from the Azerbaijani side. This has been reported today by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

At 11:30 p.m. local time (10:30 p.m. Moscow time) of September 2, 19-year-old Araik Ordubekyan was fatally wounded while on duty, the NKR's MoD reports as quoted by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the NKR's MoD, during the past day, the Azerbaijani side has violated the ceasefire 30 times and made more than 600 shots from small arms of various calibres against the positions of the NKR's Defence Army.

No comments from the Azerbaijani MoD regarding the above report are available.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 4, Vagan Mikaelyan, a soldier of the NKR's Defence Army, was killed by a shot of his own weapon.
