Source: Bekbolatov tells details of killing police officer Nurbagandov
The detainee Arthur Bekbolatov gives confessions about his involvement in murders of tourists in the Sergokalin District and road-and-post (DPS) inspectors in Izberbash, a law enforcement source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on September 12.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 12, Arthur Bekbolatov and Aziz Djamaludinov, suspected of involvement in the murder of Dagestani policeman Magomed Nurbagandov, were detained.
"The detainee told that in the forest, near the village of Sergokala, at night, they accidentally stumbled upon five sleeping persons. According to Bekbolatov, they found an ID of the police officer in their car. Then, the criminals woke the sleeping persons and roped them up," said the source.
Then, according to Bekbolatov, Magomed Khalimbekov, who was later killed in a special operation in Izberbash on September 10, hit a teenager-hostage, his elder brother stood up for him; and then Khalimbekov "got angry and shot the man dead," said the source of the "Caucasian Knot".
According to the source, the members of the illegal armed formation (IAF) put the police officer Magomed Nurbagandov into the car and drove deeper into the forest; and Bekbolatov was filming everything. "We demanded from Nurbagandov to call at the video camera his colleagues to leave work, but the policeman refused, saying: 'Go on working'. Then, he was killed," said the source.
Besides, according to the law enforcement source, the detainee told the details of the preparation of the attack on the DPS post in Izberbash.
"According to Bekbolatov, they had prepared the crime in advance," the source has added.
