In Dagestani Magaramkent District, CTO regime introduced for fifth time this year

In the Magaramkent District of Dagestan, a special operation is being carried out a week after the completion of a previous counterterrorist operation (CTO) conducted in the district.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this morning, the CTO legal regime has been introduced in the Magaramkent District, and law enforcers are engaged in searches for militants, reports the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).

Earlier, the CTO legal regime was introduced on September 4. On that day, in the forest near the village of Samur, three suspected militants were killed, and three law enforcers were wounded. Later, one of them died. On September 9, in the Magaramkent District, a fighter of the OMON (riot police) was wounded in a shootout with unidentified persons.

Meanwhile, on August 14, the CTO legal regime was also introduced in the village of Tagirkent-Kazmalyar in the Magaramkent District. Alikber Aliskerov, wanted by the law enforcement bodies, was killed there.
