Casualties of Gazi-Yurt CTO identified (+video)

The two persons killed in the counterterrorist operation (CTO) conducted in the village of Gazi-Yurt, in Ingushetia, were spouses, a law enforcement source has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the CTO regime was introduced in the city of Nazran and in the village of Gazi-Yurt of the Nazran District. In Nazran, power agents blocked a private house in Bogatyryov Street, where suspected militants were killed during a storm. Prior to the assault, a child was taken away from the house. In Gazi-Yurt, power agents blocked a private house in Gornaya Street; two suspected militants were killed in a shootout.

"A man and a woman – the spouses Rustam Aushev and Zulfiya Ausheva – rendered resistance and were shot dead in Gazi-Yurt," the TASS quotes its law enforcement bodies source.

One of the villagers said that the casualties were not local: a few weeks ago they bought this house and settled there.
