Delimkhanov deletes record with criticism of Emelianenko

On October 7, Adam Delimkhanov, a State Duma MP and Ramzan Kadyrov's cousin, has deleted a record in social networks with unflattering remarks against Fyodor Emelianenko, who had earlier condemned children fights organized in Grozny.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 4, during a mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament Grand Prix Akhmat-2016 in Grozny, demonstrative children's fights were held. They were won by Ramzan Kadyrov's three sons, aged ten, nine, and eight years.

On October 6, Delimkhanov wrote in his Instagram that "whoever the man be, he will have to answer for every word spoken against" Kadyrov's sons, whom he called his nephews.

Earlier, Kadyrov urged his supporters not to post records touching on Emelianenko's honour, and delete posts that can be regarded as offensive.

Kadyrov confidants said that the fights were a PR-action and caused no harm to children's health. Zamrat Shevkhuzhev, the father of the 10-year-old fighter from Sochi, whose son was knocked out, said he was pleased with the tournament.

  • Compensation decrease for illegal prosecution violates rights of KBR resident

The court ruling, which awarded Madin Gubzhokov compensation of 30,000 roubles for unlawful criminal prosecution, is incomparable with the moral harm caused by the actions of Azamat Kyaov, a former law enforcer. The amount is ridiculous and should be appealed against, lawyers and human rights defenders have stated.
