Law enforcers identify men suspected of killing policemen in Kabardino-Balkaria
Law enforcers have identified the four men suspected of an attack on policemen in the town of Prokhladny.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at about 2:30 a.m. of October 9, in the town of Prokhladny in Kabardino-Balkaria, four men shelled inspectors of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS). Albert Kerimov and Vladimir Mishkov, two DPS inspectors, were killed while on duty.
"Grouping leader Murat Kaufov, born in 1996, Akhmed Shevkhuev, born in 1994, Islam Nagoev, born in 1992, and Aslanbek Nakhushev, born in 1994, are wanted on suspicion of committing the crime," the "Life" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.
Today, it has also been reported that the attackers stole a submachine gun from the DPS inspectors.
A source from the law enforcement bodies has also reported to the RIA "Novosti" that the law enforcers are verifying the version that the attack had been organized by members of the armed underground. The source has suggested that the attackers are newcomers of the armed underground and that they attacked the DPS inspectors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) with the aim to take their weapons.
