Court excludes video of Dadaev's house doorway from Nemtsov's murder case files

The court dealing with Boris Nemtsov's murder case has announced its decision about the video record, which the Dadaev's defence had treated as evidence of his alibi. The Court found that this record cannot be regarded as admissible evidence.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 11, the court watched the above video from the doorway of the house, where defendants lived. The prosecutor pointed to the contradictions of the video to the defendant's testimony and demanded to exclude this evidence from the case. Dadaev and his defence were against it.

Today, the court has ruled to partially grant the petition of the prosecution.

"Since the record was made without a timestamp and with interruptions, it is impossible to reliably define, when the recorded events took place, and what happened, when the camera was off. The Court finds that this evidence contains no reliable data," said Judge Zhitnikov.

Let us note here that on November 23, 2016, Dadaev stated that he was at home at the time of the murder of Boris Nemtsov, which "is confirmed by the video from the doorway" of No. 3 in Veyernaya Street.
