Blogger Sergey Rulyov detained at picket in Rostov-on-Don

Sergey Rulyov, a blogger and a correspondent of the "Slavic News" edition, was detained in Rostov-on-Don for violating the public order at the action, dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the dispersal of the "March of Millions" in Bolotnaya Square.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Rostov-on-Don, at least 25 people, including activists of the "Yabloko" Party and the "Open Russia" movement, came out to the above action.

Rulyov has abused and pushed one of the picketers – Irina Zenina, as a result of which she fell down. After that, two policemen ran up to Rulyov and took him outside the territory of the park, where the picket was taking place.

Sergey Rulyov moved to Rostov-on-Don from Ukraine in 2014, after he refused to support the new Kiev authorities. He attends all oppositional events, films them and abuses the participants.

Over 30 persons were brought to criminal responsibility in connection with the events of May 6, 2012, during the "March of Millions" near Bolotnaya Square in Moscow, where clashes between activists and law enforcers took place.
