The terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia has claimed responsibility for the attack on a checkpoint of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS) in Malgobek, during which a policeman was wounded.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the attack on policemen was committed at night of May 12. As a result, policeman was wounded and two attackers were killed, including Magomed Bekbuzarov, who was wanted for involvement in an attack on a police patrol car in Malgobek on April 8, the law enforcement agencies report.
