The Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan has found no offense in the actions of Olga Tochyonaya, detained during the anti-corruption rally held on March 26. Other seven appeals filed by rally participants are under consideration. This was reported by Marat Ismailov, an organizer of the anti-corruption rally.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 26, in Makhachkala, the anti-corruption rally finished with the mass detention of its participants. According to the information of the Soviet ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala, the number of people, brought to the police, exceeded 100. Protocols of the administrative offence were drawn up against forty people. All participants of the action were released from liability, except for its organizer Marat Ismailov, who was fined 10,000 roubles.

According to Marat Ismailov, on March 27, the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala closed the case against Olga Tochyonaya with the wording "because of the insignificance of the offense." On May 12, the Supreme Court of Dagestan granted the appeal filed by the activist against the decision of the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala and announced the closure of the case "because of the absence of the administrative offense." This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Marat Ismailov.

"It turns out logically that similar decisions will be pronounced in the rest of the cases. Therefore, our rally was completely legal," stated Marat Ismailov.
