Ukraine extends sanctions against Alexander Tkachov and Ramzan Kadyrov

On May 15, the website of the President of Ukraine published a list of individuals and legal entities subjected to the sanctions imposed against them. According to the updated sanctions list, the restrictions are imposed on 1228 individuals.

The sanctions list includes, among other things, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, Alexander Tkachov, Minister of Agriculture and former Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Nikolai Kozitsin, the ataman of the "All-Great Don Army", earlier wanted in Ukraine, and Oleg Beloventsev, the presidential envoy to the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD). The sanctions against them were introduced for a period of one year.

According to the document, Ramzan Kadyrov is forbidden to establish business contacts and conduct financial transactions. With regard to Alexander Tkachov, "the assets are blocked and the person's right to use and dispose of property is temporary restricted."

The sanctions list of legal entities includs the "Agrocomplex named after N. I. Tkachov" owned by family members of the former Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, the Company "Kerch Ferry Terminal", and the "Kerch Sea Port".
