Soldier killed in Karabakh conflict zone

Vazgen Pogosyan, a soldier of the Defence Army, born in 1997, was killed as a result of shelling from the Azerbaijani side. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 111 cases of shelling per day. Nagorno-Karabakh accused Azerbaijan of 300 cases of shelling during the period from July 2 to July 8.

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD, Vazgen Pogosyan "got fatal gunshot wound ... as a result of violation of the ceasefire from the Azerbaijani side." The investigation into the incident is underway.
