Two arms dealers detained in Ingushetia
In Ingushetia, field investigators have detained two persons on suspicion of arms and ammunition trafficking, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported.
According to the MIA's information, the suspects were detained while selling three pistols, manufactured of signal pistols for firing live ammunition, as well as 180 rounds.
At home of a detainee, law enforcers discovered a workshop with three manufacturing machines, tools and devices for metal machining, as well as a pistol home-transformed to fire live ammunition. In the course of a search at home of another suspect, law enforcers seized a TT pistol and about 430 grams of marihuana, reported on September 26 the website of the MIA's Chief Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).
Criminal cases have been instituted on arms and ammunition trafficking.
Till present, no comments from suspects or their representatives regarding the detention and institution of the criminal cases are available.
