Power agents report detention of four IS* members-natives of Dagestan
Four natives of Dagestan were detained in Moscow and Makhachkala on October 13 and 14. They are members of the so-called “dormant unit” of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reports.
According to the NAC, the detainees give confessions: they have told about their contacts with IS' emissaries, preparation of terror acts in Dagestan during major public events, as well as about their attempts on law enforcers and military servicemen.
In Makhachkala, two hideouts belonging to the detainees were found, containing three ready-to-use improvised explosive devices (IEDs), the "Interfax" reports referring to the NAC.
