Four months later, Ramzan Kadyrov voices his second willingness to resign

Ramzan Kadyrov has "outgrown" his status of the leader of Chechnya, but the question of his future career is in the competence of the Russian President. This opinion has been expressed by experts after the Ramzan Kadyrov's new announcement of his willingness to resign.

According to the results of the survey held by the "Levada Centre" released on October 26, Ramzan Kadyrov occupied the seventh place in the top ten Russian politicians, whom Russian citizens trust.

On November 26, the leader of Chechnya said that he was ready to leave his post, since "it was due time."

Ramzan Kadyrov has been heading Chechnya since March 2007.

According to Islamic scholar Roman Silantiev, Ramzan Kadyrov may find a successor for himself.

The Kremlin treats Ramzan Kadyrov as the leader of Chechnya, announced Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary for the President of Russia.

Adam Delimkhanov, a State Duma member and a Ramzan Kadyrov's cousin, sees no future for Chechnya without Ramzan Kadyrov.

In April 2015, the Chechen leader said that being "an infantryman of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief," he is a subordinate of Vladimir Putin and he is ready to resign if necessary.

The experts then treated the Ramzan Kadyrov's statements as "a grandstand play" to a large extent.
