CTO legal regime lifted in Stavropol

In Stavropol, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been lifted after the completion of a special operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on December 9, the CTO legal regime was introduced in the centre of Stavropol. According to an officer from the FSB Department for the Stavropol Territory, the CTO legal regime was introduced to prevent a terror act. Eyewitnesses reported about evacuation of tenants from the houses located near the place of the special operation. The National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported that during the CTO, three members of a criminal grouping were neutralized in one of the houses.

"Starting from 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (December 9), the CTO legal regime is cancelled," reported the FSB Department for the Stavropol Territory as quoted by the "Interfax".

According to the law enforcement bodies, no civilians and law enforcers suffered during the special operation.
