A Dagestani woman reports about her second child left in Syria

Victoria Budaikhanova, a native of Dagestan, detained after her return to Russia with a child, has left her second child in Syria .This was reported by her advocate Sapiyat Magomedova.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Victoria Budaikhanova with her daughter was among the women brought from Syria on November 13. After her return, the woman was detained. Victoria Budaikhanova was wanted since 2016 on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities, her advocate reported.

In 2014, Victoria Budaikhanova left for Turkey, got married and gave birth to a child. After her husband died of illness, she moved to Syria in 2016, where she got again married and gave birth to her second child, who now stays with the father, reported Sapiyat Magomedova.

Victoria Budaikhanova said that she had repeatedly tried to leave Syria, but she failed. The woman did not surrender to the police, but in Grozny, Moscow law enforcers assured her that they would not detain her, the advocate noted.

At present, a four-year-old daughter of Victoria Budaikhanova lives with her grandmother, the advocate reported. She has explained that according to the Russian laws, in case if parents committed a particularly serious crime, they may be deprived of parental rights.

Zagidat Abakarova and Muslimat Kurbanova were detained after they returned to Russia on October 21. On October 24, they were arrested, despite taking care of infants.
