Antiterrorist exercises held in Dagestani mountains

More than 200 artillerymen took part in combat firing on conditional terrorists in the mountainous part of Dagestan.

At the "Dalniy" Field Range, the artillerymen of the motorized rifle formation performed combat bombardments of a conventional terrorists' groupings of in the mountainous part of the republic, said Vadim Astafiev, the head of the press service of the Southern Military District, adding that more than 200 military men and about 50 equipment units participated in the shooting, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on December 12, at the "Kamkhud" high-altitude range in Armenia, scouts of the Russian military base began their exercises.
