About 200 people support "Voters' Strike" in Sochi

An action in support of the All-Russian "Voters' Strike" was held in Sochi. Its participants declared the need for public control over the presidential election.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 28, a number of Russian cities hosted actions in support of the "Voters' Strike". Their participants called on people to boycott the forthcoming presidential election.

From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on January 28, the Khosta Park "50 Years of Victory" in Zheleznodorozhnaya Street hosted an event held in support of the All-Russian action "Voters' Strike" organized by the Navalny's office in Sochi. The action was sanctioned by the Sochi authorities and passed without any incidents. About 200 people took part in the actions, reports the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, who attended the event.

"We came to support the rally. We are on strike against the authorities' arbitrariness. We want the election to be real, not a fake, since the people are very, very tired ... People want a normal life, they want normal wages and normal pensions," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Olga Tsanava, a participant of the action.
