Patients of narcotic centre that burned down in Baku failed to move to a new building
A fire occurred today in the narcology centre located in the Khatain District of Baku. 25 dead bodies were found in the place of the fire.
According to preliminary investigation, the fire occurred because of an electrical network failure in the building.
The place of the incident was visited today by high-ranking officials, including Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev, who has ordered to render assistance to the victims and their families.
Earlier, the Ministry of Public Health had started preparations for the opening of a new building of the Republic's Narcology Centre, where patients were supposed to be transferred, the "Sputnik Azerbaijan" has reported today.
They now plan to commission the new building of the Centre in the near future.
