Chechen blogger Abdurakhmanov explains his relatives' criticism by pressure on them

Appeals of relatives of Tumso Abdurakhmanov, a blogger, who is hiding from persecutions in Poland, to stop criticizing the authorities were made under pressure, Tumso is sure.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 10, Abdurakhmanov informed that four of his parents' brothers had been detained. On May 1, the "Grozny" TV Channel showed a report, in which relatives called on the blogger to stop criticizing the authorities and return to Russia.

Abdurakhmanov stated in response in a video posted on the YouTube that he would continue criticizing Chechen authorities.

He is sure that his relatives support him, and the criticism was expressed under pressure, the portal "Kavkaz.Realii" reports.

Tumso believes that the pressure on his relatives intensified after he told the story about the death of Turpal Israilov, a Chechen who had been presumably tortured by law enforcers.

He has added that lives on the money sent to him by his subscribers, and on the allowance, paid to him in Poland as an asylum seeker.

In their comments to Abdurakhmanov's video, users have supported him.

"A worthy son of his nation; it's nice to watch his video; it picks up the spirit, "Adam Aliev has noted.
