Three natives of Chechnya and one of Ingushetia declared executors of Grozny terror act

The attack on believers of the church in Grozny was committed by Chechen natives Amir Yunusov, Ali Yunusov and Mikail Elisultanov, and by Akhmed Tsechoev, a resident of Ingushetia, a local law enforcement source has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), on May 19, as a result of the attack on the church in the centre of Grozny, seven people were killed - two policemen, four militants and one parishioner; two other policemen were wounded.

Amir and Ali Yunusov are brothers; they and Akhmed Tsechoev were 18 years old, while Mikail Elisultanov was 19 years old, a source from the republic's security structures told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the information voiced earlier by the head of Chechnya, three killed attackers were residents of the Geldagan village of the Kurchaloi District and of the settlement of Argunsky (Alkhan-Churt) near Grozny.

According to calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", the attack on the church in Grozny was the third attack on religious sites in Northern Caucasus committed this year. Responsibility for the two previous incidents was claimed by the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court.
