Ammunition planted to a resident of Dagestan, his relatives report

During a detention in Makhachkala, Yunus Abdurakhmanov, a resident of Dagestan, was planted a grenade and rounds, his relatives claim. According to the relatives and friends, Yunus Abdurakhmanov's friend defamed him under torture.

On May 21, 28-year-old Yunus Abdurakhmanov was detained while he was visiting his relatives. During a search, law enforcers discovered a grenade and 30 rounds under a mattress and detained Yunus Abdurakhmanov and his cousin, but the latter was later released, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by the detainee's relatives.

They believe that the law enforcers' interest in Yunus Abdurakhmanov was provoked by a slander: on March 13, Shamil Adilmurzaev, a colleague and friend of the young man, was detained in Kizilyurt and could defame him under torture.

The information about slander was confirmed by Tamila Bagomedova, an advocate of Yunus Abdurakhmanov. According to her, Shamil Adilmurzaev was tortured after the detention, testified against his friend, and then was released. Being at large, Samil Adilmurzaev visited Yunus Abdurakhmanov and asked to forgive him for slander, advocate Tamila Bagomedova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the advocate, Yunus Abdurakhmanov is charged under Part 1 of Article 222 from the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal arms and ammunition trafficking). Tamila Bagomedova believes Yunus Abdurakhmanov is also tortured for a confession.
