Ingush leader warns bloggers about responsibility for criticizing agreement with Chechnya

Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the head of Ingushetia, has instructed officials to conduct explanatory talks with local residents about punishment inevitability for unlawful statements about the border with Chechnya.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yunus-Bek Evkurov signed an agreement on fixing the Chechen-Ingushetia administrative border. Residents of Ingushetia held protest actions in the cities of Sunzha and Magas.

Mr Evkurov has stated that "on the Internet, radicals should respond for their messages containing public calls for extremism or unsanctioned protest actions."

Meanwhile, social network users from Ingushetia sharply criticize the agreement.

Thus, one of the posts placed in the social network "VKontakte" contains a collage, confirming that the republic loses a significant part of its territory in the eastern part thereof.

In the Facebook, Ingush activists post their photos with calls in pieces of paper for the resignation of the head and parliament of Ingushetia.

Residents of Chechnya have noted that they do not understand the need for the agreement, but they cannot influence authorities' decisions, fearing repressions.

Formalism should not affect nations' relations, Murad Musaev, a lawyer, believes.
