In Ingushetia, participants of motor rally report unity of opposition
Law enforcers did not detain participants of a motor rally held in protest against the change of the Chechen-Ingush border, since there were a lot of protesters. The border agreement brought together all the opponents of the authorities, state activists.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 1, residents of Ingushetia conducted mass motor rallies in different localities to protest against the change of the Chechen-Ingush border. The Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov warned about the punishment for illegal statements in social networks about the establishment of the border with Chechnya.
On September 26, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yunus-Bek Evkurov signed the agreement on securing the border between Chechnya and Ingushetia. Residents of Ingushetia held protest actions in the cities of Sunzha and Magas.
On October 1, up to 300 cars took part in the motor rally, reported Ismail, a participant of the motor rally. The aim of the action was to draw people's attention to the processes with which some residents of the republic could not agree, the activists noted.
According to activist Ismail, in Ingushetia, the negative assessment of the agreement on the border with Chechnya united forces that opposed each other.
"A historic event took place: the Muftiate, the Council of teips and the organization 'Mekhk-Khel' gathered around the table," the activist reported.
