In February 2018, 16 people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
In February 2018, at least 16 people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, 10 were killed and other six were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
In February 2018, in Dagestan, 14 people fell victim to the armed conflict. Of them, eight were killed and other six were injured. As a result of an attack, committed by suspected members of the armed underground, five civilians were killed and other two were injured. In the course of the armed clashes, two suspected militants were killed, while one law enforcer was killed and other four were injured.
In Ingushetia, during a special operation, two suspected members of the armed underground were killed.
In February 2018, in Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia-Alania, the Stavropol Territory, and in Chechnya, no victims to the armed conflict were registered.
